	shmu Vacancies Station House Media Unit (shmu) is a volunteer led and managed community media organisation offering services across the regeneration areas of North & Central Aberdeen. As part of our Youth Music Initiative funded youth music project, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic trainee to join our music team. Beatback (YMI) Project Trainee Part Time 16 hours per week (flexible) Salary: £7.40 per hour (SCP 10) Fixed-term post (initially to 31 March 2009) As the Beatback Project Trainee you will work closely with the Beatback Project Development Officer to deliver tuition, support, and develop new ideas for the Beatback Youth Music Project. You will also participate in production meetings and co-presenting the Beatback Radio Programme on the shmuFM community radio station. You will be proficient in at least one musical instrument, communicate well with a wide variety of people and be enthusiastic to develop and expand your professional and musical skills.
